O’Dea Concession Speech

Denver, CO – Political outsider, successful business owner, and Republican nominee for United States Senate issued the following concession speech:

Thank you Colorado.

I want to thank all of our friends, supporters, family, my wife and daughter, and David thank you.

It's been an incredibly rewarding journey and we've made so many friends across this great state.

We are so disappointed in tonight's outcome. So many people poured their hearts, their souls into this race. We all did. And the outcome is a tough pill to swallow. But that's life in the big city.

We fought hard. We competed. We stayed true to our core and our beliefs and our values. And it didn't work out, not this time. But I don't have any regrets at all.

I want to congratulate Senator Bennet on his victory. I hope he'll lean into his commitments that he made during the campaign and work to move the nation forward out of this terrible rut of partisanship and gridlock. The country is suffering, people are struggling, and our leaders need to elevate themselves to the great challenges of the day.

I hope that Senator Bennet will use his seat for the good of this state, all four corners. Colorado matters.

Again thank you to my wife, family for getting behind this campaign day one of this campaign and always being in my camp.

Thank you to the four horsemen who helped my finance committee, jumped in and did their part, couldn't have done it without ya. And thank you to all of Colorado for your love and support.

I look forward to better days, don't look backwards, look forward. Colorado's a great state, we'll get some things done, it may take us a little while. Thank you again for being here tonight.
